[There is a giant Rose walking down the street. Streets, sometimes. She seems to be pretty calm considering she's suddenly bigger than she could ever be, but this is Rose we are talking about. At least her clothes grew with her. God bless long concealing 50's skirts and stupidly long dark socks too.

Perhaps you see her pass? Perhaps she stood on your car. Or maybe she's about to squish you to death? Either way you should let her know. Out of all the weirdness going on she doesn't really mind this bit that she has to live through. She's almost smiling without trying to hiding it, even, but that's mostly because only the rest of the giant population would be able to tell, and those are easy to spot.]

Rose, Rose-- wait. Actually, I really would rather you-- *And her voice is getting more distressed as that hand descends, but oup! too late!*

This doesn't strike you as... odd, perchance?

[And up Kanaya goes. Rose at least had the decency of placing her over her palm, so she isn't actually grabbing the troll like a toy.]

It's quite odd, yes. But then again, I trust this will not be permanent, so for the time being I will go and enjoy myself.

[Taking advantage of her size to seize Kanaya is perhaps part of that fun she expects to get out of this.]

So tell me, can you see your house from up here?

I would hope it would not be permanent. I would have to abandon any desire of using you as a prospective model.

*And turning to look, climbing on her hands and knees.* Most assuredly. However, I haven't the faintest idea which it is. They are all identical, you know.

It's a figure of speech. 'It's so high I can see my house from here' is a way to imply you have reached unexpected heights.

[And now Kanaya is even higher, as Rose has just lifted her hand to eye level.]

Model? I would love to hear more about that.

Oh, I see. You do, of course, understand how it could be confused for a literal question.

...and I am not certain what you mean. A model is traditionally used to examine how an outfit will appear on and affect a living form. Do they not have them on Earth?

I suppose so, considering you tend to get things in a very literal sense, and aren't properly accustomed to the human ways just yet.

[Rose squints a little as she brings her hand closer.]

Kanaya, are you insinuating you wish to dress me up?

I don't think it was insinuating so much as it was rather explicitly stating my intention to do so.

Provided of course that you would also like that.

Oh okay then; perhaps it's only fair you ask something out of me as log as I get something myself.

[Still, the threatening finger goes up and close to Kanaya's face.]

I would sugges we keep this as private as possible, though.

Well. Yes, I would assume that you would enjoy keeping any ensembles that passed your most rigorous of musters.

*Looking at that very ominous finger; seriously that thing is as big as she is.* And do you have something against the others learning that you are assisting me in my aesthetically interesting ways?

That sounds acceptabe. We has a deal then. Is there anywhere you wish to go?

I make a point to keep private matters private. I know you might eventually announce this to others, but your model feels it's only proper to ask for her personal involvement to be kept away from the spotlight if possible.

At the moment? Groundward wouldn't be objectionable, though it would make conversations more difficult.

And that I can understand. You have my word that I shall not breathe a word of your involvement to others except in event of dire emergency. I'm not certain what dire emergency might be solved by the revelation of a secret model, but the contingency ought to be in place regardless.

It would be a hindrance with my current size. Don't tell me you don't find this experience exciting in the least, though. You don't have the chance to travel in the hand of a giant human too often. Besides, I doubt I'll have a future chance to say I have you on the palm of my hand.

I barely see the chance of something worthy of worry to arise if concerned with your fashion adventures, but I like to cover all my hypothetical bases, in case they were to be compromised.

You drive a difficult bargain, Rose Lalonde, but a compelling one nonetheless. Though generally speaking, a relative scarcity and rarity of an encounter might not be all that persuasive if said event is unpleasant.

Not that this is unpleasant, mind you. Just... odd.

And I can certainly understand the desire to cover ones bases. Consider them thoroughly blanketed.

I assure you, the chance of something like this to happen without the involvement of intense pain and rampaging destruction will be quite odd. I want to take the situation as it is right now and don't mind the consequences, whatever they might be.

Good, then I suppose we should go and properly stomp the Guardian while we have the chance to do so, don't you think?

I suppose I can understand that point of view when you phrase it like that. If you feel the need to rampage, kindly alert me beforehand.

Rose, I feel like I should point out that while he would most assuredly deserve a stomping unparalleled in history or fiction, he is likely residing in my human hive right now. And I live there.

If I do so, you will be given a hand before I begin.

Surely you can always find a better place to reside for the time being. At any rate, the town is likely to repair whatever damage is inflicted on the house.

Likely, but not certain. And from what I understand, living in a domicile other than your assigned hive will result in panscrubbing.

So while I sympathize with your intentions I am afraid I must render a veto on any and all stompings.

And I know I would hate to listen to you ramble about anything without your wordiness.

I wonder what makes you think you held any authority over me, specially since I, and this by no means brings delight to me, do have you on the palm of my hand.

...I don't have a preference, only that we keep property destruction to a minimum if possible.

For some reason the banter that came with musing about it made things easier to assume. You could say it helped to keep our current debacle in perspective.

The banter, or assuming? And yes, I'd hope you would be capable of doing that.

Does it matter now? [what is being evasive.] Now we settle for a familiar camaraderie as so called chums, and therefore such matters don't hold any value now. Unless you are Dave, but I am glad that is far from the case.

[It's only that poking fun of Dave and playing with their odd relationship is one of the few ways she can honestly have fun.]

Maybe it would prove to be profitable to carry the stomping over to my house, as it's devoid of anybody sans me. I could use the time off without worries for all that matters.
