I still cannot believe we are doing this. Enjoyable as it might be, I must admit I still have some reservations about it.

You trolls should try to properly discuss these matters with humans before flinging them so carelessly at others. I take it you have not been properly explained the meaning of those words? But given the way you treat your affections I suppose it makes sense. Very well, let's see...
[She clears her throat, and removes her hands from her. In turn, though, she grabs Kanaya's hand with hers and pulls her to a couch so they can sit close and comfortably.]
Humans are far simpler on those matters, I'm sure you know. If it goes by terminology, then you can call them heterosexual or homosexual...among other more detailed but unnecessary complicated extra allocations. Heterosexuals, as the term conveys, are attracted to the opposite sex, while homosexuals are attracted to the same sex. Gay or lesbian are ways to refer to somebody who is homosexual, while the regular term to be used on heterosexuals is straight, it's simple to tell this all is firmly rooted on degradatory tendencies towards the homosexuals.

...in my particular case, ah, perhaps I should expand on the ways humans express their affections. The next term is bisexual. As it clearly stands, somebody identified as bisexual can be either attracted to their same sex or the opposite one. It usually is seen as an excuse of sorts, but if I'm to be honest I would say I probably stand there, because besides you, I had always thought my interests laid on the other side of the field--

I could very well be lesbian though. By the way, lesbian is a term used exclusively for homosexual women, but gay might be applied for either gender. There are far more terms for people and what they are sexually attracted to, like the case of the so called asexual, which simply derive no pleasure at all from either gender, be it always or most of the time, with a number of tones down the scale, but I think you should first make sure this all isn't giving you some massive headache.

I... I see. That is significantly more complex than how we trolls measure it. I had been under the assumption that "lesbian" referred to exclusive attraction to females and "gay" exclusive attraction to males no matter the gender. I see that that was inaccurate.

Why on Earth would you think I would want to-- it was just-- Look, I explained it to you in an effort to properly explain the way humans sort out their affections, but trust me, I have no intention to undergo into any sort of reproductive and or long term- whatever.
[Insert frustrated sight. At least her hold on Kanaya's hand is back to "strong". She looks away, and starts talking, apparently half to herself.]
When it comes to it, I have no interest on defining my feelings. As you have said, ours is not precisely an age where anything is set on stone, and therefore it would be a mistake to take it as something bigger than it is, independently of who big of a something it currently seems to be. I did not mean to upset you or to lead you onto something that could have made you rethink about this. I...I guess I'll just excuse myself now.
[Welp, something went wrong somewhere right? Rose stands up and walks away- but she should probably let Kanaya go first.
